WHAT IS WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY?
All furniture delivery comes with White Glove Delivery Service which includes inside placement, two flights of stairs, unpacking, debris removal and assembly. Drivers are not permitted to move and/or handle stereo, television or any other electronic devices. We will also not hang any pictures, mirrors, shelving, etc. on the wall.
WHAT IF MY DELIVERY LOCATION OFFERS CERTAIN OBSTACLES?
Please relay any physical obstacles involved in moving your new piece of furniture into your home. It is essential to delivery success for us to know about stairs, narrow walkways, etc. All information provided in this capacity is very helpful.
IMPORTANT: Home owners must indicate if their building requires proof of insurance to enter.
HOW DO I MAKE SURE MY PRODUCT WILL FIT IN MY SPACE?
We encourage you to thoroughly measure your door frame and prospective space. It is the responsibility of the home owner to verify fit and Ambiance Home will not take responsibility for products that will, upon arrival, not fit through a door, hallway, etc. For your convenience, product measurements are located on each product page. Please be advised, if a product needs to be exchanged due to a fit issue, there will be a charge to ship the product back to Ambiance Home and to restock it. We kindly request our customers carefully consider the navigability of their space when making their purchase.
WHEN MAY I EXPECT DELIVERY?
We will contact you within 48 hours after we receive the merchandise into our warehouse to schedule your delivery.
WHO WILL CALL ME TO SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY
A Delivery Service representative will contact you. If you do not hear from us, it is possible that we have not picked up your furniture or that we do not have a correct phone number and address.
WHAT TIME FRAMES ARE AVAILABLE FOR A DELIVERY?
We will arrange a 4-hour time window for your delivery. For example, a 4-hour time window can be between 8:00AM – 12:00PM, 11:00AM – 3:00PM, or 1:00PM – 5:00PM, depending upon the delivery route. Our scheduling department will give you the time window when your delivery is scheduled and confirmed. We will try to accommodate your request for a special time frame.
DOES AMBIANCE HOME MAKE ANY EVENING DELIVERIES?
All deliveries are scheduled in a four hour time frame (between 8:00AM – 7:00PM)
IS MY FURNITURE INSPECTED BEFORE IT IS DELIVERED?
Yes, every piece of furniture is carefully inspected prior to delivery. An inspection tag is initialed and placed on each piece. In addition, our delivery personnel also inspect each piece of furniture prior to loading it on the truck for delivery to the customer.
WILL DRIVERS MAKE AN EFFORT TO FIT FURNITURE IN TO HOUSE AND/OR ROOM?
A reasonable effort will be made to fit the furniture into the house and/or room. It is advisable for customers to take all pertinent measurements to ensure that furniture will fit into the house and/or room before purchasing an item.
WILL DRIVERS REMOVE OLD FURNITURE, ESPECIALLY MATTRESSES?
Our drivers will remove an old mattress and box spring with the caveat that for health and safety reasons staff cannot handle or remove those that are stained. This must be specified at time of purchase. Our drivers are not authorized to remove any other furniture.
WILL DRIVERS ATTACH MY OWN BED FRAME TO NEW HEADBOARD OR FOOTBOARD?
Yes, our drivers will assemble your bed if it is compatible to the new headboard or footboard.
DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TWO MEN ON THE TRUCKS?
Yes, we always have 2 men on all deliveries.
